A private Maine four season hideaway on 25 acres of wooded land fronted by a half mile of shoreline on Hobbs Pond. This three bedroom, four bath vacation home was completed in 2006 and has every modern convenience.
Despite its privacy, this property is located less than ten miles from Camden and Rockland and would make a wonderful warm water retreat for weary sailors once moored for the night or bad weather.
Summer brings swimming, fishing, canoeing and opportunities for kayaking, waterskiing or sailing with dock and swim flote on site. Youngsters might enjoy “camping out” on the point at our original campsite which has a picnic table and firepit begging for hot dogs and s’mores.
Fall turns all the woods to glorious colors luring the hiker to a multitude of local mountain trails or the angler to get that last trout, bass or pickerel.
Winter is a whole new beauty and set of activities. Ice skating, cross-country skiing and snow shoeing on the lake or trails. Snow mobiling on the Maine State Trail System which crosses the lake. Four miles away is the Camden Snow Bowl with ski trails that overlook Penobscot Bay and the Internationally famous Tobbogan Run.
Bad weather, no matter, invite some friends, light a fire play a game, watch a movie or test the gourmet kitchen and dine by candlelight. You will know for sure that...
